Casandra Corrales

Founder / Director / Producer / Writer / Actress

Born in Denver, CO, Casandra studied performance at the AMDA Conservatory in Los Angeles. She then extended her studies at the University of Colorado in Denver, acquiring her B.A. in Theater, Film & Video Production. Career opportunities took her to New York City, where she honed in on her production skills in film and television working on T.V. shows like Gotham Season 1, 30 Rock, HBO'S Show Me A Hero and films such as John Wick II and Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Casandra was asked to join the team at Dear World to become a Storyteller and Project Manager, thus bringing her to New Orleans.

Casandra has produced a variety of short films with her company Side C Films. Her work has been recognized by the NOVA Film Festival and Best Shorts International, and her performance in ALL IN THE TIMING, won an Irene Ryan Award in 2011. Casandra travels the country, capturing stories and connecting with people from all walks of life.

The Director of Photography extraordinaire! Jen has her own bad ass production company, Stay Posh, where she offers stunning services such as music editing, photography, and of course video! Stay Posh and Side C collaborate on the regular and have found a blossoming dynamic brain collision!

Jessie Rubini

Producer / Writer

Atlanta, GA native Jessie Rubini is a recent Tulane graduate with a BA in Political Science and Communications.  Jessie's passion for writing and television as well as her drive to create unique content drew her to Side C. In her spare time, Jessie writes sketch comedy, performs standup, and even participates in storytelling competitions. She has worked for SideC since April and is excited to continue working on its upcoming web series, 'Must Ride Bike.'

Jason Bargas

Marketing Consultant

Jason Bargas is a part-time producer and a full-time management consultant.  He brings over ten years of production experience to Side C Films in addition to operational expertise gained from over 20 years in management consulting and technology transformation.  You may find him during his off-hours making a roux or sipping a fine whiskey.
